# Account Registration / Signup
## Create a Phonovation SMS account online, activate it by SMS, and start sending with 25 free credits and a temporary long code.
### Create and activate your account
1. Visit the [Phonovation SMS registration page](https://secure.interactsms.com/Register.aspx).
2. Enter your registered organisation name, first and last name, email address, mobile number, and password. Your email address becomes your sign-in username. A promotional code can be added if you have one.
3. Complete the security check and select **Create Account**.
4. Enter the five-digit activation code sent to your mobile number, set your password, and select **Activate Free Account**.
5. Read and accept the terms and conditions to enter the portal.
### Your new account
After activation, your account includes **25 free SMS credits** and a temporary shared long code. The temporary long code is available for your first **five days** and does not support replies.
After five days, you need an approved Sender ID or a dedicated long code to continue sending messages. The temporary long code is removed automatically when its five-day period ends. It is also removed if your verification submission is rejected.
### Complete verification and top up
Open **Account Top Up** in the portal and submit the verification form. The form asks for your address, country, company information, and the Sender ID setup that suits your organisation. After the form is submitted and your account record is created, you can top up by credit or debit card straight away. The Phonovation team reviews the submitted information and will contact you if a correction is needed.
### Choose a Sender ID setup
- **Register a new Sender ID for me:** Phonovation completes the ComReg Sender ID registration.
- **Already registered with ComReg:** use this when your Sender ID is already registered and Phonovation has been set as the authorised participating aggregator.
- **International sending only:** use this when you only send outside Ireland.
- **I do not want a Sender ID:** use this when you do not want to request a new Sender ID.
