How many text messages can I send?

  • You can send up to 100,000 messages in one go by uploading the phone numbers from a spreadsheet that can be saved and reused.

How long does a message take to be delivered?

  • Usually, text messages are delivered within 15 seconds. However, there can be delays due to heavy network traffic, faulty phones, or the recipient being out of coverage.

Can I see reports of what I've sent?

  • Yes, you can view these reports in the 'Reports' section of the application.

Why are some messages in my reports showing as failed?

  • Messages may not be delivered for several reasons: recipients may have a faulty phone, be out of coverage, or out of credit.

Can I receive replies to my bulk texts?

  • Yes, you can select an option to receive replies to the bulk text messages you send. View replies in the 'Reports' section of the application under the report for each campaign sent.

Can I save lists of phone numbers for future campaigns?

  • Yes, when you upload a list of phone numbers, you can choose to save the list for future bulk text campaigns.

FAQ: Advanced Sending Options

Can I load a new Excel spreadsheet with customer numbers and send personalized messages at specific times?

  • Yes, you can load a new Excel spreadsheet with your customers' numbers, a personalized message, and a distinct time for that message to be sent.

How should my Excel spreadsheet be structured?

  • The numbers should be in the first column.
  • The message should be in the second column, limited to a maximum of 160 characters including spaces.
  • The date and time for the message should be in the third column with the format dd/mm/yyyy hh.

  • There is no exact number we send from so the Sender Numbers (LongCodes) can vary greatly.

FAQ: Can I use this service to send  OTP (one time passwords) or 2FA verification?

  • Yes absolutely!

FAQ: Can I buy a phone number?

  • Yes, we can provide numbers (longcodes) if you require reply's to your SMS messages, contact sales@phonovation.com for more information!

FAQ: How we can test the API?

  • We can provide you with a separate set of API credentials dedicated for testing purposes.

FAQ: I am not from Ireland, can I still sign up?

  • Currently to self signup we only allow Irish and UK signups
