Parent Account:
A parent account is established with the capability to oversee and control child accounts. It enables the allocation of credits, monitoring of message transactions, setting sender IDs, and more.
Child Account:
A child account is set up by either an administrator or a parent account holder. It possesses all the features of a regular client account but is supervised and controlled by the parent account holder.
Campaign:
A campaign is a strategic marketing initiative that involves sending out a specific SMS message to a targeted audience with the goal of promoting a product, service, event, or other information. It allows businesses to reach out to their customers in a personalized and direct manner, increasing engagement and driving desired actions. By crafting compelling messages and carefully selecting the recipients, campaigns can effectively communicate key messages and drive desired outcomes.
Opt Out:
Ways for individuals to stop receiving additional messages or information from an InteractSMS bulk text account.
Smart Tag:
An innovative feature that enables you to seamlessly insert data from a Microsoft Excel© file into your messages automatically.
Filter:
A feature that enables you to target specific groups within your saved contact lists when sending out campaigns.
Shortcode:
The shortcode, a memorable five-digit number, allows users to easily opt out of receiving messages. The InteractSMS shortcode for opt outs is 50123.
Longcode:
A Longcode is a standard mobile number format specific to a country, commonly used for receiving SMS responses.
Post-paid Bundle:
When you purchase a post-paid bundle, the cost is charged to your InteractSMS account and will be included in your bill.
Sender ID:
The Sender ID, also referred to as the Originating Address (OA), is the number or name that appears on the recipient's mobile phone when they receive an SMS.
API:
The Bulk Text API, also known as the Application Programming Interface, serves as a bridge between your current systems and the SMS messaging gateway of InteractSMS.
