# Reporting

## Choose the right tool

## Report lifecycle
| Status | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| Pending | Being generated. |
| Ready / Active | Available to download. |
| Expired | No longer downloadable — reports expire 72 hours after generation. Clone to re-run. |
| Failed | Generation failed — clone to retry. |
| Stopped | A recurring report paused because recent copies weren't opened. |
