Third Partys and ISV's

If you send SMS messages on behalf of your customers, please follow the guidelines in the article below to ensure a smooth process.

KEY DATES

3 July 2025: Messages sent from unregistered sender IDs will be blocked.
If your clients have not approved their SenderIDs, haven’t chosen you as their Third Party, and Phonovation Ltd as their OPA, messages sent through Phonovation will be blocked.


STEPS YOU NEED TO COMPLETE

  1. Ask your clients to log in on the SMS Sender ID Registry portal with their credentials:
    http://senderid.comreg.ie/

  2. Ask your clients to click on My Sender IDs.

  3. Ask your clients to look up their SenderID's on the Search bar and check its status.

  4. Clients can view any Sender ID names that have been withdrawn or removed in the Status box.

  5. Client's can then select Phonovation Ltd as their OPA by clicking on the OPA Authorisation button and choosing Phonovation.

  6.  Ask your clients to select your organization as their Third Party by clicking on the Third Parties button and selecting it. 
  7.  ComReg will send an email with confirmation of the actions outlined above and will approve or reject the changes. 
 If any of your clients' SenderID names are not approved, do not have your organization as their Third Party or do not have Phonovation Ltd as the OPA they will face the restrictions mentioned above 

IMPORTANT

If a client's Sender ID:

  • is not approved,

  • does not list your organization as their Third Party, or

  • does not have Phonovation Ltd as their OPA,

then the message will be blocked as of 3 July 2025.
