Why Can't I Send Messages After Five Days?

Understand what happens when a new account's temporary long code expires and how to keep sending.

New accounts receive a temporary shared long code so they can start sending straight away. That long code is available for five days from sign-up and is then removed automatically.

How to continue sending

To continue sending after the five-day period, complete verification in Account Top Up and use one of the following:

  • an approved Sender ID; or
  • a dedicated long code.

Other reasons the temporary long code can be removed

The temporary long code is also removed if your verification submission is rejected. Review the feedback, correct the requested information, and submit the form again.

The temporary long code does not support replies. If you need recipients to reply to your messages, request a dedicated long code.

If you have completed verification and still cannot send, contact support@phonovation.com.
